I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion and desire to help patients feel better by improving sleep, decreasing anxiety and improving mood. I use a combination of medication management and psychotherapy to achieve your goals as we target symptoms that may be disruptive to your life. I take great care with every patient I treat to ensure they feel heard, respected and understood. Jill provides care for adults 18 years and older with a variety of mental and emotional conditions. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and eating disorders. Jill has a strong interest in the mind-body connection and enjoys providing health and lifestyle education to her patients. She believes in a collaborative and individualized approach to care.

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing medication management and supportive therapy for clients ages 10+. I received my Bachelors and Masters in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked throughout the medical field as a mental health specialist, a research coordinator and as a school nurse. My work experience and training include McLean Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and multiple public school systems in the Greater Boston area. I have experience working with clients' diagnoses such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, and bipolar disorder.

I have over 20 years of experience treating psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression and ADD. I earned my BSN and MSN at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 and have worked at both inpatient and outpatient setting. I provide psychiatric medication prescriptions and medication management. I also offer ADHD testing and treatment. I do not provide psychotherapy. I treat ages 18 and above.

I base my treatment on the biopsychosocial model and evidence-based practices. I understand that medication is only a part of the picture within the biopsychosocial model of mental health. I am a strong supporter of collaborative care and will work with other providers to maintain clients optimal health. As a prescriber I take on the role of consult and encourage clients to feel confident in their psychiatric care. I do this by asking questions, answering questions, and encouraging clients take the lead in their care.

I am a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Having started as an Educator, My Education and training Include a Master’s in psychology, a Master’s in Community and Public health, a Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner, CAGS in PMHNP and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. As a Doctorate prepared Psychiatric and Family practitioner, I draw on my knowledge of Nursing, Psychology, Community / Public Health and Education to advocate for and provide the very best solutions for those I serve. I am Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) since 2017. I received my Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health in 2016 from Northeastern University in Boston. As a Registered Nurse, the majority of my past nursing experience is with women and children. In the realm of school nursing I have served children with special needs, first at the Cotting School in Lexington, then shared between Arlington School and Pathways Academy, both of McLean Hospital, becoming full time at Arlington School of McLean.
