My practice focuses on helping people with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, PTSD; individuation within the framework of psychodynamic psychotherapy. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents (18+), adults, couples, and people involved in the arts. Childhood experiences and relationships with one's family of origin influence an individual's personality and provides a template for future relationships. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist that specialize in treating Young Professionals, Adolescents and Adults. I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Dr. Marken is a Columbia- and Cornell-trained, board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist. He was on faculty at Harvard Medical School and is now on faculty at New York University. Dr. Marken predominantly provides psychotherapy and/or medication management. He has a patient-centered approach that provides thorough and individualized care for your particular needs. As a physician, Dr. Marken focuses on the interaction between the biological, the psychological, and the environmental contributors to mental health. He is a member of the International Society for Sports Psychiatry and works with athletes at all levels.

Dr. Shailaja Emani is a board certified psychiatrist passionate about providing holistic, comprehensive, and evidence based psychiatric care. She has a wide variety of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults across treatment settings and complexity levels.

Dr. Simbiat Adighije (Dr. Sim) has 14+ years of experience in treating adults with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar disorder and weight management. She practices as a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health NP with a wealth of education & experience. Dr. Sim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University with Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing. She further received a Medical Degree and PhD in Public Health from University of Science, Arts and Technology, Montserrat (Florida campus). She believes in a personalized treatment plan for each patient be it medication therapy and/or psychotherapy.

I have 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
