As a Brain Injury Medicine Psychiatrist, I am passionate about helping high-achieving individuals who are facing the challenges of medical and neurological co-morbidities, particularly those who have experienced Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), whether recently or in the past. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and guidance to patients recovering from TBI, who may be dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, memory deficits and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as they work towards reclaiming their sense of self and achieving their optimal well-being once again.

I am Dr. Margaret November. Originally a New Yorker, I have lived and practiced in California for over 30 years. I specialize in Psychotherapy, Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology. I am uniquely qualified to diagnose people, having been trained with the authors of the DSM IV. Without a proper diagnosis people can often languish in treatment for years. With a proper diagnosis, the real work begins. Together we will build trust and a specific treatment plan that is right for you and your lifestyle.

I specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry but see adults as well. I provide a treatment plan that is tailored to you. Medication is not always the right or first answer.

Dr. Hovav has a deep understanding of the biological, psychological and social components of mental illness and treats her patients using evidence-based medicine combined with psychotherapy. For treatment-resistant disorders, she is known to think outside the box with creative psychopharmacology. She graduated medical school, completed an internship in Internal Medicine, then a Postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA, and finally a Psychiatry Residency at Creighton Univ. She was previously a Medical Director of Behavioral Medicine and is currently in private practice. She has several publications in leading peer-reviewed medical journals.

Jenna is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP-BC). She received her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services for adolescents to older adults. She possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapports with patients and families. She provides medication management (not therapy service). Besides English, she also speaks Vietnamese fluently.

She then completed her general psychiatry residency at Harvard South Shore in Massachusetts with clinical training throughout many affiliated hospitals of Harvard Medical School and the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System.

Emily Lippincott is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and specializes in treatment of mood and anxiety disorders in adults as well as children and adolescents. She works in collaboration with a team of psychiatrists and psychologists in a large group practice that accepts most insurance plans. Championing a whole person approach to health and well-being, she employs a combination of medical and holistic practices into her treatment plans, and believes in an interdisciplinary approach in treating psychological conditions.

I am board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, and treat adult individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My areas of interest and experience include college mental health, integrating psychotherapy with medication, mood disorders, thought disorders, depression and anxiety, healthy aging and memory issues, as well as psychiatric issues in pregnancy and post partum. Brittany is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner. She was born and raised in a small town in Missouri before she came to California as a travel nurse. Brittany has an extensive critical care background as well as a background in psychiatry and addiction medicine, and she believes in staying up-to-date with all the newest technology and medications to find what truly works best for her patients. Having trained in large metropolitan areas as well as rural communities, it is her passion to provide affordable, quality mental health care to those in all areas.

Dr. Hansen began her medical career in the Army National Guard as a medic. After completing 12 years education, she moved to Alaska to work in integrated care models for the Native American people at Southcentral Foundation. During this time, she served as an adult & adolescent psychiatrist & director for the dual-diagnosis addiction program. She gradually transitioned to the field of tele-psychiatry & assumed the role of Behavioral Health Director for multiple towns in Alaska while concomitantly working in California for LA County.
