I approach our work in a spirit of collaboration. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate and kind with the goal of cultivating an environment where progress can take place. Some the conditions that I commonly evaluate and treat include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma related conditions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd), psychosis, neurodevelopmental conditions, autism spectrum disorder, issues that often affect LGBTQ+ individuals, professionals in crisis, cultural stressors and family conflict. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management and therapy.

I am a psychiatrist/psychoanalyst with an interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, Relational Psychoanalysis, psychiatric diagnosis, and the impact of anxiety on self-esteem, relational issues, and overall well-being of children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, I have extensive experience treating and supervising others who treate people suffering from narcissism, trauma, dissociation, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I primarily offer weekly to more intensive psychoanalytic treatment. I mostly prescribe medications to help patients feel good enough to engage more fully in their lives and psychotherapy.

Ingrid Suazo is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who has an extensive 10-year involvement working with severely mentally ill individuals. Her great passion is bringing out the fullest potential, and guiding healing to clients across the life span.

It is important to me that I collaborate closely with my patients and their families in their treatments since it is their health and wellbeing that we are focusing on. I believe spending individual time with each of my child and adolescent patients is an important part of the therapeutic process, as well as a providing a separate space and time for parents to share their own experiences. The patients and families that I would like to work with are those that are interested in investing in their child's and their health and needs so that they can progress towards a happier lifestyle and develop healthy relationships with others.

I have always been interested in people, their stories, and what motivates them. My initial curiosity led to a desire and interest in the mental health field. I advocate for mental health awareness to debunk misconceptions the general public has about mental health.

She continued her specialty training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, child & adolescent fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, and forensic psychiatry fellowship at NYU in New York City. Dr. Dupée has decades of experience treating adults, children, adolescents and young adults. She specializes in assessment and medication management of ADHD in children and adults, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, post partum depression, OCD, PTSD, and many other issues.
