Hi there - I'm Dr. Philip Cawkwell, board certified in Adult Psychiatry as well as Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I trained at the top institutions - NYU for medical school, MGH/McLean Harvard for Adult Residency, and Stanford for Child/Adolescent Fellowship. I have the ability to connect with teenagers and young adults, while staying up-to-date knowledge on the latest in psychiatric treatments. I am proud to have completed formal fellowship training in both Child & Adolescent and Addiction Psychiatry. I have a particular interest in the treatment of severe mental illness and adolescents with addiction issues. I completed my medical degree at Loma Linda University and completed my Psychiatry residency and 2 fellowships at the University of Louisville. I focus on providing thorough diagnostic interviews and providing medication management services.

I welcome people of all ages and genders, but I have special expertise in working with women and adolescent girls who suffer from depression, mood swings, grief, anxiety, stress, trauma, self-injury, eating disorders, and/or ADHD. I see patients in person in Beverly Hills and in Redlands, California, and I also see patients via telepsychiatry throughout California. I use an approach that combines psychiatry-as-usual, that is, medications and therapy, with lifestyle changes in six domains. I work with patients to help them to achieve all-around vibrant health, both mental and physical.

I provide confidential, evidence-based treatment for mental health issues and addictions, including opioids, alcohol, cocaine, amphetamines, tobacco, cannabis, and behavioral addictions like internet, gaming, and gambling. These are NOT moral or character failings, but rather medical conditions that can affect anyone at any time, from any walk of life, with oftentimes serious personal, relational, and professional consequences. Stephen B Seager MD has been a board-certified psychiatrist for twenty-six years. He specializes in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorders. A graduate of Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr Seager completed his psychiatry residency at Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles. A former Emergency Room physician, Dr Seager is also a retired Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA School of Medicine.

Dr. Kelly is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist. After completing his training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and directing their Residency Training Program, he moved back to Los Angeles and is currently a professor with UCLA. Due to high demand for his individualized services, he now also sees outpatients in two locations, Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills. Dr. Kelly has multiple areas of focus in which he may be of particular help.
