I have had an outpatient practice for 41 years. During my residency at Michael Reese Hospital, I taught a psychiatry course to medical students. After graduation I worked at Illinois Masonic Hospital in a women's health clinic addressing the emotional needs of women. I also worked at both a nursing home and assisted living facility doing both talk therapy and medication. I enjoy working with both young and older adults from varied backgrounds. I think I am very good at making people comfortable, as many patients come in afraid of therapy. The therapy and medication is decided upon
