I work primarily with individuals, providing psychotherapy (talk therapy) and medication when needed. Much of my experience has involved helping people with depression, relationship problems, parenting or medical illness. I have friends and colleagues from various ethnic, SOGI and religious backgrounds. Dr. Nakshabandi draws from 10 years of psychiatric training experience across a wide range of settings including Harvard Medical School, The University of Chicago, The Department of Veterans Affairs and over 40 different sites across two continents. Dr. Nakshabandi has extensive knowledge on a wide array of therapeutic techniques, medication management algorithms, and complementary approaches to treatment. His treatment approach is rooted in empathy and strives to heal by evoking it.

We help youth with serious learning difficulties and psychiatric/neurological challenges such as lead exposure, violence brain injury. I am passionate about helping patients and their families overcome the stigma surrounding mental health treatment for children. Hi, my name is Kimberly Lopez, and I am a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner. I love working with all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. I have almost two years of experience in the nurse practitioner role, but I have a little over 10 years of critical care nursing before I became a nurse practitioner. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL, where I still reside. I am the first in my family to graduate from college.
