I am a board certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of various mental health disorder across life span, including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, substance abuse, oppositional defiant disorder and antisocial personality. Collaborating with other clinicians , I also provide Individual, Couples and Family psychotherapy. My approach is Patient Centered and Comprehensive. Dr. Khachi is a Stanford-trained child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. He brings years of experience in neuroscience research and cutting-edge clinical care to the Los Angeles area. He is the founding President and Medical Director of Mind Study Center, offering world-class comprehensive psychological and psychiatric care in our community. Dr. Iman Parhami is a triple-board certified psychiatrist (Child Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine) who completed his child and adolescent psychiatry training at Johns Hopkins University. He strongly believes that diagnoses do not define individuals. Instead, diagnoses can help classify a set of symptoms and can help identify empirically supported treatments for that class of symptoms. Dr. Hansen began her medical career in the Army National Guard as a medic. After completing 12 years education, she moved to Alaska to work in integrated care models for the Native American people at Southcentral Foundation. During this time, she served as an adult & adolescent psychiatrist & director for the dual-diagnosis addiction program. She gradually transitioned to the field of tele-psychiatry & assumed the role of Behavioral Health Director for multiple towns in Alaska while concomitantly working in California for LA County.
