I have special interests in working with trans and gender expansive individuals and other members of the LGBTQ+ community, people struggling with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and people wtih OCD.

I am deeply passionate about mental health, particularly when it comes to treating bipolar disorders, trauma, and psychotic conditions. When it comes to working with patients, "curiosity" is my guiding principle. I partner with individuals to dig deep into what's troubling them and work together to set life-affirming treatment goals. Over time, I've embraced several care models, including the harm reduction model, which aims to lessen the negative impact of behaviors like substance abuse or self-harm, even if quitting altogether isn’t on the table yet.

I am a Board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. My holistic approach includes medication management, psychotherapy and lifestyle changes. I use personalized integrative psychiatry methods to help adolescents and working professionals struggling with anxiety, depression, and burnout. Through my process, I help clients reconnect with their friends and family, enjoy alone time without feeling overwhelmed, and find a general sense of purpose and greatness in life.

Dr. Kelly is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist. After completing his training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and directing their Residency Training Program, he moved back to Los Angeles and is currently a professor with UCLA. Due to high demand for his individualized services, he now also sees outpatients in two locations, Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills. Dr. Kelly has multiple areas of focus in which he may be of particular help.
