I'm Arlene, a board-certified Physician Assistant and Clinical Temperament Counselor. My expertise includes Behavioral Health Counseling and Primary/Acute Care. I hold a national Surgical Assistant Certification with specialized training in Neurosurgery, Plastics/Reconstruction, General Surgery, and Orthopedics. Additionally, I offer services in Medical Nutrition Therapy, Blood-Type Specific Nutrition Counseling, Diabetes Nutrition Counseling, Temperament Career Counseling, as well as addressing anxiety and depression. I'm passionate about my healthcare profession and have had the privilege serving patients for nearly two decades.

My treatment approach is simple-- help you get to the underlying cause of your mental health symptoms and offer you effective solutions to help manage them. I believe that medications are only one tool among many that can help improve symptoms of mental health-- in my conversations with patients I put equal emphasis on the importance of good nutrition, optimal gut health, stress management, individual talk therapy, regular exercise, and excellent sleep hygiene. I am now pleased to also be offering ketamine-assisted therapy for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.

I find that it is of high importance to identify the root cause or foundation of illness and disease as a means of successfully treating and/or healing disease! Unfortunately, medicine as practiced today is rushed and therefore, no longer prevents or effectively treats disease. Thankfully, I believe it is my privilege to be involved in helping people truly experience health, or wholeness, which is always a result of a healthy mind, body, and more importantly, spirit! My ideal client has audacious faith to know that things can, will, and always change for the better when you fight for and persist in it!
