Dr. Checo is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. She completed her psychiatry residency training at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, MA and a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Dr. Checo completed a fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
