Our CARF-accredited, state-licensed outpatient mental health clinic offers comprehensive services for adults, adolescents, and children in Southern Maryland and Prince George's County. Our clinic staff includes a diverse group of mental health professionals, including therapists, social workers, nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists.

I treat patients with a variety of mental health conditions: Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, Schizophrenia, SUD, BPD. Before I was a nurse practitioner I was a nurse. Before I was a nurse I was a mother with postpartum anxiety and depression. Mental health is my passion because I bring the empathy of shared experience to the table. I know how painful anxiety and depression can be, how embarrassing it might be to seek out help, how daunting the medication is, and how it feels to lose hope; to feel stuck. I do what I do because I know how effective the medications are, and for most people we can find a medication that works for them.

Dr Umaru Labay-Kamara, popularly called” Dr Kamara” by his patients is trained as a Medical Doctor with specialty in Psychiatry. He studied and completed his residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences School of medicine. He has been practicing Medicine for the past 20 years. He has been a staff psychiatrist and Medical Director at QCI Behavioral Health serving patients in Prince George’s, Calvert, St Mary’s and Charles County. He was recently awarded a Dedicated Service award for his dedication and service to his patients by the Prince George’s Department of Health. He is a member of APA and AACP
