I am a psychiatrist practicing with individuals experiencing a wide range of life stressors and feelings of sadness and anxiety. I believe that the human mind is more complex to be treated with medications only. My practice is based on treatment with psychotherapy +/- medications depending on each individual case. The visits are an hour long and the wait time in my waiting room is usually no longer than 10 minutes. I accept a limited number of patients at a time to ensure my availability to my patients.

I am a nationally American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) recognized Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I believe in treating the whole person and not solely the immediate crisis. I educate others to embrace the importance of mental health and to understand it to be as critical as physical health. Everyone is capable of a fulfilling life, regardless of their situation, choices, or past. Quality mental health care should be accessible. My true passion was always psychiatry and medical school was always just a means to an end for me. After returning to the United States, I spent some time with my family in Tampa, FL and put myself through the tedious licensure process here. Four exams and around a dozen clinical internship experiences later, I found myself finally beginning my post-graduate training in General Adult Psychiatry in Miami, FL.
