I am a psychiatrist who is interested in you as a person and how we can work together to help you feel better. I am careful and intentional with medications. I strive to make sure you understand potential common side effects as well as potential benefits. In some cases, it's possible no medication is needed at all. I also have additional training in evidenced-based nutraceuticals and non-prescription medications. I take into account any genetic predispositions, family history, upbringing, and life experiences before offering a diagnosis. Our relationship is very important to me; I consider myself a warm and responsive physician.

Dr. David V. Alvarez is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Illinois who has been practicing since 2009. Elizabeth has been a family nurse practitioner since 2013, receiving a Masters degree in nursing from St. Xavier universory in Chicago.  She has worked in a variety of settings, including psychiatry that became her passion. Outside of the office, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, two children and their dog, soap making, and spending time outdoors.

Jacalyn Saracco is a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience specializing in Psychiatric Nursing.
