I have been Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for over 20 years. I graduated from medical school in Paris and completed my psychiatry residency at Yale University. I joined the faculty at Yale University, and then at NYU until 2011. I have been Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College since 2011. I had been Unit Chief at NewYork Presbyterian for more than 10 years since 2011. I am fluent in English, French, and Hebrew.

My patients come to me searching for a mental health provider who is well-rounded, experienced, thorough, and attentive to their life’s story. While I work as a generalist, I have extensive experience treating patients and families who have been coping with chronic stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, pain or other difficult to control physical symptoms associated with medical illness. I also have experience working with individuals and families who are dealing with advanced illness and want to find a psychiatric provider who "get's it."

I offer combined medication management and psychotherapy. The Whole Circle approach is informed by a reverence for the power of narrative and the transpersonal. My holistic training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy allows me to create a safe space that includes a spiritually-intentional set and setting for each journey I facilitate. My approach to psychiatry is simple. I look at your life thoroughly; from your DNA up through your relationships. Problems in any of the layers of life can cause mental health issues. Once the areas of concern are identified, I will construct a treatment plan to address it. My approach comes from years of working through challenging patient cases as a provider, and personally being on the receiving end of overlooked issues in my own care. I cannot promise to have all of the answers, but I can promise to help you gain insights into the areas of concern in your mental health.

As a physician and therapist, I believe that mental health is characterized by flexibility and fluidity of thought and intention. I take a balanced and gentle approach in my treatment style and am careful to gauge and work with each of my patients wherever each may be. I enjoy helping people work to live more authentically and vibrantly. I try to help my patients unlock underlying patterns that may perpetuate a sense of stagnation. While I readily offer the use of medications if and when they may be helpful, I have often found talk therapy to achieve enduring change.

For patients needing medication, I integrate pharmacotherapy with dynamic psychotherapy.

My ideal client is motivated to build a therapeutic relationship that goes well beyond just a prescription. Currently, I only offer services via telehealth, so one must be comfortable with utilizing that platform. A physical office space is in my near future, but even then, I intend to offer hybrid care for the convenience and comfort of my clients.
