Chinyere is a Board Certified licensed, Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a BSN degree from Shenandoah University, Winchester, VA, an MSN degree from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA. Chinyere has 14 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse and 9 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, providing psychiatric evaluation, treatment and medication management to patients with varying degree of mental illness. She has expertise in treating adolescent and adult patients.

Catherine Ben-Agu is a board certified licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner in the state of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. She has 8years of experience in psychiatry. Catherine attended Walden University where she completed her bachelors and masters degree in nursing. Through her many years of experience, she has been able to partner with children, adolescents, adults, as well as geriatric clients who seek help with diverse psychiatric problems.

Latricia is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. Latricia has been providing services to her community for many years and she is grateful and honored to be able to provide mental health services to her community. Latricia’s goal is to provide patient-centered mental health services to clients six and up with diverse backgrounds and mental health disorders. She aims to incorporate the whole person in treating her clients. Latricia’s mission is to help clients improve their quality of life by providing the tools needed to help increase their mental stability.

I have a passion for mental health and make a commitment to my clients that I will care for them as I would a family member. I’ve been a nurse since 2002 and worked in the Neuroscience Unit and Surgical Trauma ICU at VCU. In 2012, I graduated from VCU with a degree in Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I worked with inmates at the Henrico Jail for several years, practiced telemedicine (before it was cool) from home for 1 year working with clients in Appalachia, and then I worked with Diamond Healthcare in nursing homes and inpatient for crisis and substance abuse. Most recently, I worked for Zoe Therapy Services.

I am passionate about helping people who struggle with ADHD, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues or trauma. I especially love helping young people overcome their mental health challenges, discover their strengths, and reach their full potential. My additional training in France as a Couples and Family Counselor emphasising a family systems viewpoint has enabled me to better incorporate an individual’s particular context and background when considering treatment. She is a military veteran and has served innumerous leadership and academic positions over the course of her career, primarily in hospital-based settings and during combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dr. Waits treats a wide array of mental health conditions in individuals of all ages. She enjoys providing holistic, collaborative, patient-centered care that is focused on identifying and addressing the root causes of symptoms, including early childhood events, medical conditions, environmental factors, and nutrition.

Anna believes in a holistic and client-oriented approach to medication management. She believes it is important to consider a client's personal beliefs, spiritual values and cultural diversity when providing care. Her goal is to break stigma regarding mental health and teach her clients the important of taking care of their own mind and body.
