We are accepting patients. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice with certification in FNP and Family Psychiatry. I have been practicing for over 7 years as a Certified NP and over 30 years as a BSN RN. Recognizing that health is wealth, it is imperative that your mentally ill health is taken seriously because the disease of the mind is the disease of the body. I have been blessed to practice psychiatry for the past 11 years. It is an honor to walk the journey of life with my patients, helping them work towards their goals free of burden. I have developed a pharmacologically conservative practice that is founded on listening and developing patient relationships, in the convenience of an accessible West Houston location. With a diverse practice background and the knowledge from being triple boarded in Adult Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine; I am able to offer experience in treating a wide array of mental illness.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - We help patients establish a professional relationship with a dedicated physician who knows their medical history and medication regimen. This provides the patient with continuity of care and on-demand access to a doctor through telemedicine or in-person appointments. We manage a wide spectrum of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, ADHD and insomnia. Patients with these conditions have the best chance of improvement when they have regular appointments with the same physician who works with the patient in a professional setting.

Funmi Akinrimisi MSN, PMHNP-BC Funmi Akinrimisi is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Texas Tech University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University. Before working in the NP role, Funmi has several years of experience in medical-surgical /Pediatric

Dr. Qalbani is a Double Board Certified Psychiatrist in Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his residency training at the University of Kentucky in Adult Psychiatry as well as a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. ​He practices psychotherapy and psychopharmacology and has extensive experience treating a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, difficulties in relationships, underachievement and feeling overwhelmed or stressed.
