Barbara graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. She has 26 years of psychiatric nursing experience working in various healthcare settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities. She earned her MSN at Walden University Minneapolis, MN. She has experience working with patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, autism, and ADHD. Barbara is passionate about providing compassionate care and support for sexual and gender minorities.

Byeolah Henson PA-C, graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from University of South Florida. Prior to PA school, she received a B.S in Biology from the University of Florida. Byeolah is experienced in treating patients with a variety of behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, substance abuse, and more. She is fluent in English and Korean, both of which play a important role in her day to day clinical work.

Mariah earned a B.S in Human Nutrition from the University of Florida and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Florida. She has experience working with substance use, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, and other mental health concerns. She strives to deliver quality and compassionate care to all her patients. She has a passion working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her care approach is empathetic, compassionate, trustworthy, and attentive to clients concerns and feelings.

Dr. Jessica Edwards was born in Huntsville, Alabama and is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Huntsville. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She completed her psychiatry residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine and its affiliated North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Edwards has over 25 years' experience in psychiatry and addiction medicine, being one of the first 500 physicians to receive certification by the American Society of Addiction Medicine in 1997, and later board certified in addiction medicine in 2017.

Twelve years of nursing experience allowed me to treat and gain familiarity with people from all walks of life; I also had the opportunity to understand their barriers to functioning at their best. I was born in the United Kingdom, then I lived in the inner city of Philadelphia, and suburbs of NJ until I moved to rural areas of NC. Living in various places contributes to my ability to understand various cultural nuances and impact.

Dr. Megan Freeman is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency training at Vidant Medical Center at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina in 2021 where she was the chief resident. Since then, she has worked as an attending physician at an inpatient adult psychiatric unit in Burlington, North Carolina. As a resident and attending she has treated adults of all ages and in all areas of mental health.
