She works with adults using medication management, dialectical behavioral therapy, diet, exercise, and mindfulness. Lauren has a holistic approach to care and believes a suitable treatment plan is one the patient can agree to and follow.

Dr. Crystal Montague, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dually board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with several years of training and expertise treating patients across the lifespan (child to elderly) in a variety of practice settings from hospitals to outpatient clinics. Dr. Montague provides compassionate, therapeutic care, utilizing an evidenced-based, collaborative approach with patients while formulating treatment plans. She strongly advocates for patients to receive appropriate community and school resources, and psychological testing. She is always happy to assist with bridging those connections.

My treatment philosophy centers on a whole-person approach focusing on overall wellness. It is important to have a collaborative approach making sure not to dismiss any areas of concern, but to provide the most efficient comprehensive care.

Teah Doles-Johnson is a double board certified Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for her undergraduate degree as well as her initial master's degree in Adult-Gerontological medicine. After 5 years of medical practice she saw an unfulfilled need within the geriatric population pertaining to psychiatry sparking her interest in obtaining a post-master's certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

As a health care provider with over 10 years of nurse practitioner experience, I would love to learn more about you and how we can work together to improve your mental health. I believe in providing quality care that is client focused and education driven while using the most current treatment guidelines. I provide care that focuses on the whole person, and I seek to provide mental health services to anyone in NC in a virtual setting to those ages 16 and up. KaShea, PMHNP-BC graduated with a master’s from Maryville University in Saint Louis Missouri. Prior to Nurse Practitioner school, she received her BSN from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Kashea has experience in assisting individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses in the outpatient and community setting. She believes in meeting people where they are to provide hope, support, and compassion. Kashea also lives by the golden rule and treats everyone with respect. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and attending sporting events.

Barbara graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. She has 26 years of psychiatric nursing experience working in various healthcare settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities. She earned her MSN at Walden University Minneapolis, MN. She has experience working with patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, autism, and ADHD. Barbara is passionate about providing compassionate care and support for sexual and gender minorities.

Special interests and research lie in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychiatric management of women during the preconception, prenatal, and postpartum stages with an emphasis on the management of postpartum mood disorders as well as helping patients cope with infertility. I also provide gender-affirming care for the LGBTQ+ community. With my advanced certification in functional psychiatry, I am able to utilize a combination of nutraceuticals and psychopharmacology to help patients reach optimum wellness.
