I help clients resolve psychological or psychiatric problems that keep them from fully experiencing their lives. I also work with people to help them achieve their life goals. Because no two people are the same, treatment for every person should be individually tailored. I do therapy, and use medications when they are needed. Some of the therapies I use are hypnotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, couples and family therapy. I help with anxiety, mood problems, habit problems, co-morbid medical and psychiatric problems, relationship and family problems.

We are a growing holistic psychiatric practice for the whole family with a Child Psychiatrist for children, and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for adults. Our mission is to provide evidence-based, holistic mental health care using the art and science of healing to adults, children and adolescents. Our primary treatment model involves the pillars of what we believe to make up a healthy and happy life: being part of a community, nutritional information and mind-body therapies as well as focused treatment of symptoms using therapy or medications as indicated.

Life can often present us with roadblocks, hardships, and tragedies. And because of this it's sometimes easy to feel stuck and helpless. As such it can be difficult trying to figure out how to navigate such life challenges and whom to confide to about them. That’s where I come in.

My patients often share with me that they look forward to their appointments with me as an opportunity to heal, to learn, and to grow in ways that were surprising to them. That is one of the most gratifying parts of my work. I am passionate about offering a holistic and inviting approach to emotional health treatment. I have significant training and experience to provide the most comprehensive care possible and deeply connect with patients. I attended medical school at Tufts University, and completed my adult residency program at Harvard Medical School (MGH/McLean). I am also certified through Postpartum Support International.

I have 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. My practice uses a whole person approach connecting mental health and medicine, mind and body. I collaborate with other professionals such as therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, guidance counselors, teachers, and family members (with your consent). Clients are encouraged to engage with a therapist, recognizing that this is a personal choice.
