Her main goal is to improve each patient's quality of life by providing them with the tools they need to retain emotional and mental stability.

My treatment approach is simple-- help you get to the underlying cause of your mental health symptoms and offer you effective solutions to help manage them. I believe that medications are only one tool among many that can help improve symptoms of mental health-- in my conversations with patients I put equal emphasis on the importance of good nutrition, optimal gut health, stress management, individual talk therapy, regular exercise, and excellent sleep hygiene. I am now pleased to also be offering ketamine-assisted therapy for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Health Studies from James Madison University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing before pursuing his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. David has several years of healthcare experience working in various specialties, including intensive care, inpatient mental health, and nursing education. His interests include treating adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

I have a passion for mental health and make a commitment to my clients that I will care for them as I would a family member. I’ve been a nurse since 2002 and worked in the Neuroscience Unit and Surgical Trauma ICU at VCU. In 2012, I graduated from VCU with a degree in Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I worked with inmates at the Henrico Jail for several years, practiced telemedicine (before it was cool) from home for 1 year working with clients in Appalachia, and then I worked with Diamond Healthcare in nursing homes and inpatient for crisis and substance abuse. Most recently, I worked for Zoe Therapy Services.

I am Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience, providing medication management and adjunctive psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. I believe in a multifaceted collaborative approach to patient-centered care. My focus is on the whole person, including medical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. Medication management is just one element of a successful treatment plan and that supportive therapy and teaching coping strategies are valuable tools in treatment.
