Saundra L. Trouslot, NP Saundra L. Trouslot is a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia who has been practicing since 2019. I have more than 18 years’ experience in healthcare with varied experiences including medical and mental health care. I specialize in the treatment of both children and adults. I provide medication management for all mental health disorders. The initial appointment is very comprehensive and it takes 30 mins to 45 mins. Medication is prescribed based upon client preference and need, and the client is closely monitored monthly until stable on the medication. Follow up appointments are usually 20 mins to 30 mins.

She knows that medication doesn't solve every problem, but can be a necessary tool that aids in supporting therapeutic goals for long term healing. Having worked in a children's psychiatric hospital for much of her career, she is very eager to prevent higher levels of care when possible.

Komal Singh, M.D. is a graduate of Avalon University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital with additional fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia Hospital. Dr. Singh provides psychiatric evaluations and treatment services to children and adolescents. Dr. Singh focuses on taking a personalized approach that takes into account all aspects of the mental health of each individual patient when determining the best method of treatment. Her treatment recommendations include medications, therapy, and lifestyle changes.

Susan’s professional history spans more than 25 years, working with children, teens, and young adults in various settings including the NICU, 20 years in pediatric primary care, and more recently, a multi-specialty pediatric clinic, in the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Division, as well as outpatient private practice.

Dr. Yaple earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2003. He then moved to Richmond, Virginia where he completed his internship and residency in General Psychiatry at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, and then went on to complete his fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2008 through VCU at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children.

Anyinkia Forteh is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (BSN, MSN, PMHNP – BC) licensed in the states of Maryland and Virginia with experience in mental health. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, comprehensive, and patient-centered care. She utilizes evidenced – based treatment guidelines in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health disorders not limited to Depression, Anxiety, insomnia, Bipolar, PTSD, Psychosis, OCD, Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and ADHD.

Monica Meyer provides services for the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders for children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about a holistic approach to mental health and weaves psychoeducation into every session, supporting her clients as they work toward achieving their goals. If a mental health diagnosis is made, believe that this is only a piece of you and does not define you as a person, often stressing that diagnostics are not the primary focus.
