I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. In my 25 years of practice I have treated those with diverse backgrounds in various healthcare settings. I offer psychiatric care with a focus on psychiatric evaluations and, when indicated, medication management for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD. I have worked extensively with those experiencing forms of chronic illness and pain syndromes. My approach to treatment encompasses a mind/body/spirit philosophy toward care and wellness. You must be actively engaged in therapy as I view medication as a adjunctive treatment to the work you are currently doing with your therapist with whom I will collaborate with.

Understandably, many come to new providers feeling nervous or even jaded and unheard by previous experiences in health care. I practice psychiatry and medication management but I can also offer integrative approaches for those who are not interested in meds or would like to augment their treatment plan.

I am a psychopharmacology expert with 26 years of experience. I provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to children, adolescents and adults with a history of ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, Anxiety Attacks, OCD, Depression, lack of motivation and insomnia.
