"I am a Psychiatrist who recently left Navy service. I am originally from Northern Virginia and attended the University of Virginia and Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. My Navy time included deployment with the Marines. I am still in the process of getting up and running but plan to be able to accept referrals by mid-October. I consider myself to be compassionate, non-judgmental and open to treating people regardless of ethnicity or sexual orientation. I believe in an empathic, "team based" approach where your therapist and I work together to provide you the best individualized care possible."

"I'm a general psychiatrist providing individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. I also prescribe medication. I begin by trying to understand you as a person, and I'm convinced that you must feel understood. Problems most people face are the result of psychological, interpersonal and biological factors. These usually interact. After initial meetings, we decide how to proceed: perhaps psychotherapy, and we may or may not decide to use medication. Many of my patients have AD/HD, but I treat other problems. I actively pursue continuing education and teach medical students and psychiatry residents at the University of Pennsylvania."
"I am a board certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist who specializes in diagnostic evaluations and medication management. At my practice I work together with a team of therapists to provide comprehensive mental health care. A combination of therapy and medication often guarantees the best outcome. We are accepting most major insurances. During the initial evaluation you are provided with a diagnosis, possible causes and ongoing stressors/dynamics that underlie the way you feel or behave. Treatment suggestions might include therapy, medications or life changes. If medications are recommended, I will provide ongoing medication management."

"I counsel patients from late adolescence through adulthood and specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental disorders including mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance abuse disorders, and psychiatric disorders in medically ill patients. I completed a Psychiatric Residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. This provided specialized training in treating psychiatric symptoms/disorders in complex, medically ill patients. These patients may have acute or chronic medical, neurological or obstetrical illnesses in which psychiatric illness affects their medical care and/or quality of life."

"The focus of my work is healing, not only physical and mental, but also spiritual and emotional, so that one can grow and reach their full potential. I work with clients of all age ranges. I do my best work with clients who are motivated to get better and are open, communicating their difficulties and symptoms as they experience them. I work with most psychiatric disorders including ADHD, mood, anxiety, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, and autism/PDD. I do have particular expertise and experience in working with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, autism and with the MR/IDD population."
"I am trained in child and adult psychiatry. After graduating from medical school at Tufts in 1998, I received psychiatric training at the George Washington University Hospital, and the Children's National Medical Center, both in Washington, DC. I have worked with adults, adolescents and children and have special interest and expertise in working with both children and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I welcome individuals of all races, ethnicities, religions and gender orientations. I am happy to coordinate treatment with a psychotherapist that may already be engaged in treating a child or adult that seeks a psychiatric consultation and/or treatment from me."
"As a Board Certified Adult and Child Psychiatrist, I enjoy working with both populations. I help adults understand that if they do not take care of their own mental health, they may have difficulty being the best for themselves and their children. We all know that our children are our greatest asset. Choosing a medication for your child is a complex and difficult decision. I understand the ambivalence associated with this delicate step for some. I have vast experience managing ADHD and behavioral problems in children along with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and OCD in the both the pediatric and adult populations."
""No man is an island...", John Donne wrote. No woman, either. From birth, we depend upon relationships to give life meaning. But life sometimes leaves us feeling alone with our troubles. We may feel misunderstood, sad, worried, scared or angry. We may struggle with our direction, fall short of our hopes, suffer a loss. Yet our social connections are at the core of our humanity. That is why I believe talking can help to relieve suffering and create new directions. I strive to help by listening carefully and reflecting with you to better understand obstacles to a more fulfilling life."
"I am an ABPN Board certified psychiatrist and Clinical Associate at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Psychiatry. In 2014 I was honored as one of Main Line Today's Top Docs. I offer an integrated, holistic approach to mental health treatment and believe in using psychotherapy and psychopharmacology when appropriate. I feel it is best to use evidence-based medicine and personalized treatment plans to help optimize outcomes and improve my patients' mental health."
"Are you feeling lost and disconnected in today's world? Are you overwhelmed by the stress of family, marriage and work obligations? Are you having physical problems that do not respond to medical interventions? Exploring your past, clarifying the present and hopes for the future can help identify sources of pain and give direction for solutions. Patients with anxiety and depression and those exposed to trauma can feel better over time. I also can help you manage any psychological issues you have as a result of chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and chronic pain."
