I am a double board-certified psychiatrist and addiction medicine physician with added qualification in child and adolescent psychiatry. With over 17 years of experience as a clinician and educator, with specialties in Addiction Medicine, Mental Health, Detox, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) , Pain Management, Military Mental Health, and Harm Reduction. My overall mission is to help clients regain control of their life, and in that way, they can live to the fullest with their loved ones.

After completing medical training at Yale medical school, I began my career in family medicine. Even at that time, I was interested in mental health and addiction. As a physician assistant, I can provide medical care, evaluations, med management including anti-craving medications. So much of our lives are affected by our state mind and a prescription is not always the answer. Sometimes it is the other resources to assist the patient. My objective is to work with the patient to achieve their goals for a healthy lifestyle. I get a wave of excitement when I watch people turn their lives around! Medicine is not a job, it's a passion!

She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Medical Association, and American Academy of Child Psychiatry. Dr. Sherin Parvez is an experienced psychiatrist who specializes in adult mental health diagnosis & treatment. She is up to date with the current cutting edge advancements in the medical field of Psychiatry. She seamlessly combines her training & experience into her practice. Dr. Parvez has more than 10 years of experience in the medical field, which includes her work in Internal Medicine, ObGyn, NeuroPsych, and General Psychiatry. She finished her residency at the University of Missouri, School of Medicine, Columbia.
