I have been working in the medical field for 29 years and most of that time was spent in the mental health realm. I have now been a mental health provider for 3 years. Moved to Colorado with my husband, son, and one fur baby a few years ago and love it here. My husband is retired military which does give me a lot of perspectives when dealing with military families and their particular life situations. I also specialize in the LGBTQ+ community along with Dementia and Alzheimers. In my time off we have started traveling a lot more and seeing fascinating parts of the world while learning more about ourselves as citizens of the world.

Lisa Dashnaw Stiles is a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from University of Colorado 2018 with a master's degree in Advanced Nursing/Psychiatric and Alliance International University in San Diego CA 2001 with a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She combines her education with her experience of being a psychiatric nurse since 1988 to provide wholistic treatment.

I believe in a holistic approach to medicine that takes into account one's body, mind and spirit. This means treating each patient on an individual level, taking into account their story, goals, boundaries, and personal beliefs to find the best course of treatment for them. I am here to provide expertise, education, suggestions, resources, and guidance; however, I believe the patient themselves (or their legal guardian) should be at the forefront of their own care.

Ashley is a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner with over ten years of experience in mental health & critical care fields. Ashley is a veteran of the Armed Services, which allows her to have a special understanding of the mental health concerns of a veteran. Ashley is passionate about working with patients who are recognizing a transition phase in their life such as high school, college, military or post-partum. Ashley is a LGBTQ+ provider.

I offer psychiatric medication evaluations and treatment and am currently open to new patients. I received my PA Master’s degree at the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant (CHA/PA) Program in 2020 and have remained in Denver since. I completed my B.S. in Human Biology and B.A. in Art History & Criticism at the University of California, San Diego. Before moving to Colorado, I spent two years as an EMT, followed by two years as a TMS technician. Working in the field of TMS, I naturally gravitated towards psychiatry and have continued to enhance my skills in the field since.

I'm a dedicated psychiatric physician assistant committed to providing inclusive and affirming care to individuals from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community. When medication is needed, our providers aim to use the least amount of medications at the lowest dose that provides the most optimal treatment outcomes for you.

I am psychiatry physician assistant. I see medication management patients, just like a Psychiatrist would, and are currently open to new patients. I am a Certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Midwestern University. I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona who decided to get out of the heat and move to Denver in 2019. I work mainly with young adults, however I like working with people across all spans of life. I deal with patients of varying disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADD/ADHD, OCD, and PTSD.

Austin Kopas, PMHNP-BC, is a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in mood disorders like depression, bipolar, anxiety, ADHD, and schizophrenia-type disorders. Before completed his psychiatric nursing graduate degree in 2020, he worked for 5 years in a trauma intensive care unit treating victims after events like car crashes and gunshot wounds. Austin is inclusive of all patients and is passionate about making them feel safe, informed, and comfortable when discussing their care.

I believe in a holistic approach that promotes wellness and dignity through caring for the mind, body and spirit of the person. I have a passion for keeping up with the most recent pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for psychiatric disorders. I am ready to work together with you on your mental health journey.

Jessica Courtney is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing since 2020. She graduated from Colorado State University, Pueblo with Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatry. When you meet with Jessica, you'll meet with a caring provider who has an innate ability to help you feel at ease while overcoming fears regarding life changes and mental health concerns. She'll welcome you into a collaborative atmosphere, where she'll help you understand what is going on inside your body and how exactly the medication she may prescribe will affect it.

Alison Shapiro is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Colorado who has been practicing since 2014. She has an MSN from Colorado State University with a focus in psychiatry. Alison's prescribes psychiatric medications and provides therapy in a holistic, accepting atmosphere. Her practice centers on working collaboratively with each individual in assisting, guiding and joining patients on a pathway to greater overall health and wellness In her free time, Alison enjoys traveling, kayaking, reading, and cooking.

Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, substance abuse treatment centers, and jail settings. Education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization, from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Experience treating people across the life span, including veterans, for anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD, trauma, and depression.

Justin is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Colorado, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Justin is originally from Mississippi, and after serving four years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft avionic technician, he attended University of Southern Mississippi where he majored in nursing. Justin worked for five years as a Registered Nurse before earning his Master’s in Nursing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and began working as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Justin treats children age 5 and over, adults, and geriatric patients.
