Dr. Erica Guerrero is a board-certified psychiatric mental-health nurse practitioner who graduated with a doctorate from Regis College. She is experienced in treating a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses including depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, trauma and mental health disparities among the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a Life Span psychiatric nurse practitioner, who incorporates multiple treatment modalities including psychopharmacologic treatment and psychotherapy, along with the utmost gentle and compassionate care.

I've embraced roles ranging from EMT at 16 to specializing in pediatric nursing and emergency/trauma care. I received my BSN and MSN-Ed from the University of Central Florida, I now tread the path toward a DNP at Regis University. Simultaneously, I serve as a full-time assistant professor, imparting knowledge and nurturing future healthcare professionals. I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) education through Colorado State University-Pueblo, where I'm fostering a passion for mental health across the lifespan. Hello! I graduated with a degree in nursing from Santa Monica College in 2009. Since that time, I’ve worked in several hospital settings including intensive care. I finished my first masters degree as and Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2017 from California State University at Dominguez Hills and started managing extremely sick people in a long-term acute care hospital One universal I’ve seen throughout my many different careers in and out of healthcare is that the presence (or absence) of good mental health care spells the difference between success and failure in any environment.

Hi, I'm Jeanna (pronounced "Gina"). I'm a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I can help patients, ages 8+ with diagnosing and treating a variety of mental illness, including substance abuse.

My passion is to provide care that is more than a ten-minute conversation, and the only answer is more medication that is not working. My care focuses on the client and their individual needs. I was a registered nurse for 17 years prior to embarking on this journey as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I've taught mental health to nursing students for several years, then started working as a Psych NP in 2018. I've worked with patients of all acuities and diagnoses, including substance abuse, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD. I am comfortable treating children and adults and have additional training in perinatal psychiatry(pregnancy and post-partum)
