*Accepting New Clients* I am a Yale University trained and Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience working in the field of mental health. I believe in a holistic and client-centered approach to psychiatric mental health care. In addition to evidenced-based psychiatry and medication management, we will review supplements, vitamins, and other complementary approaches as part of your mental health treatment.

I am a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice since 2011. I work with children, adolescents and adults and offer medication management services as well as therapy. My focus is working with attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders and other behavioral conditions. I am also uniquely specialized to treat women during pregnancy, postpartum and pre-menopausal stages. I have 2 in-person office locations in the Denver area and also conduct visits via telemedicine.

I approach our work in a spirit of collaboration. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate and kind with the goal of cultivating an environment where progress can take place. Some the conditions that I commonly evaluate and treat include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma related conditions, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd), psychosis, neurodevelopmental conditions, autism spectrum disorder, issues that often affect LGBTQ+ individuals, professionals in crisis, cultural stressors and family conflict. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management and therapy.

I'm a dedicated psychiatric physician assistant committed to providing inclusive and affirming care to individuals from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community. With expertise in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD, I approach each patient with empathy and understanding. I tailor every treatment plan to each patient’s specific needs and goals. My passion lies in helping patients not just manage their symptoms but thrive and become their best selves.

I recognize the importance of maintaining mental health and how it can greatly impact physical health and vice versa. We all have life stressors, and I strongly believe we can all benefit from regular mental health checkups. I enjoy working with a diverse adult population including the LGBTQ+ community. My approach is compassionate and non judgmental.

I offer psychiatric medication evaluations and treatment and am currently open to new patients. I received my PA Master’s degree at the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant (CHA/PA) Program in 2020 and have remained in Denver since. I completed my B.S. in Human Biology and B.A. in Art History & Criticism at the University of California, San Diego. Before moving to Colorado, I spent two years as an EMT, followed by two years as a TMS technician. Working in the field of TMS, I naturally gravitated towards psychiatry and have continued to enhance my skills in the field since.

I've embraced roles ranging from EMT at 16 to specializing in pediatric nursing and emergency/trauma care. I received my BSN and MSN-Ed from the University of Central Florida, I now tread the path toward a DNP at Regis University. Simultaneously, I serve as a full-time assistant professor, imparting knowledge and nurturing future healthcare professionals. I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) education through Colorado State University-Pueblo, where I'm fostering a passion for mental health across the lifespan. Bri Laurie is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Colorado who has been practicing since 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Colby-Sawyer College in 2015, where she attended on a full academic scholarship. During the early part of her career, Bri gathered a diverse portfolio working in the ED and ICU before connecting with her passion of working with mental health. Subsequently, she earned her Master of Science degree from Regis University.

Jose Vasquez is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Colorado who has been practicing since 2004. He has a Master's, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master's, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Jose can offer a range of services and qualities to his patients to provide comprehensive mental health care. His dedication to improving the lives of individuals with mental health challenges can make a significant impact on their overall health and well-being.

Sabrah provides a compassionate and integrated approach. She strives to listen carefully and establish open communication with clients. From a trauma-informed perspective, she partners with you to develop a care plan. Her approach to psychiatric care and medication management blends person-centered care with recommendations that are guided by research and evidence. She partners with clients through education about different components of psychiatric health, including nutrition, physical activity, and relationships.

Jennifer is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has an extensive nursing career that transitioned into psychiatry in 2018 when she realized her passion for helping individuals with mental health concerns and substance abuse. She has diagnosed, treated and managed all major psychiatric disorders and varieties of mental illness and addiction. She prefers an integrative approach that not only includes medication management but non-pharmacological methods, such as nutrition, complimentary alternative modalities and therapy.

Aimee McLaurin is a Nurse Practitioner in Colorado who has been practicing since 2023. Aimee's prior experience in the military and acute medical settings have provided her with unique skills to assist clients in managing challenging times in their lives. She has learned how to help the client navigate a path through these times, build resilience, and thrive by embracing our individual strengths and weaknesses. In her spare time, Aimee enjoys being outdoors, gardening or just enjoying the sunshine. She likes to cook for others, learn new recipes, and is a bad but enthusiastic dancer.

Born and raised in Colorado, I am passionate about supporting those who live in our rural and mountainous communities. Colorado is a progressive state in many ways including the rights of the LBGTQ community as well as support for mental health. I believe in access to mental health from personal experience and understand the importance of having a provider who listens without judgment, who cares, and who responds quickly to questions and any pharmacological concerns. I believe in and strive to provide psychiatric care to individuals with empathy and compassion.

Justin is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Colorado, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Justin is originally from Mississippi, and after serving four years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft avionic technician, he attended University of Southern Mississippi where he majored in nursing. Justin worked for five years as a Registered Nurse before earning his Master’s in Nursing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and began working as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Justin treats children age 5 and over, adults, and geriatric patients.
