Jennie’s philosophy is patient centered and her approach: 1- Promotes positive and effective psychiatric mental health care 2- Access to services, support, and mental health care 3- Encourages the removal of stigma related to mental health care for everyone she encounters Jennie works as a partner with all patients or caregivers to manage the mental health concerns. She will work with each individual to create a treatment plan which will address the symptoms while minimizing possible adverse events with options. All options in your treatment plan will be discussed to make informed decisions about your own care.

I am a Board-certified adult psychiatrist, practicing Psychiatry since graduating from medical school in 2005. I have also done fellowship in Psychoanalysis from Boston Psychoanalytic Institute and Society and also holds an unrestricted license to prescribe Suboxone for management of patients with opiate addiction. I am originally from Pakistan and come from a family of physicians and surgeons. Following the footsteps of my family members and keeping the tradition of practicing medicine alive, I am now the fourth-generation physician in my family and the third generation practicing medicine in the USA.

It is so cheesy to say, but I really went into mental health to help people, to be able to supply the tools as well as walk through life with you. Our clinic treats ages 5 & up. Sessions are conducted virtually (using a HIPAA compliant platform). We understand that medication management is not the only solution. The lifestyle that precipitated the stress response in the first plans needs to change. In addition to psychotherapy and medication management, we place high regards for modalities such as weight management, medical management, exercise, and sleep hygiene to combat the body’s inflammatory response, which exacerbates mental illness. We aim to uses the lowest effective dose and help people to eventually not depend on medication.

We are accepting patients. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice with certification in FNP and Family Psychiatry. I have been practicing for over 9 years as a Certified NP and over 30 years as a BSN RN. Recognizing that health is wealth, it is imperative that your mentally ill health is taken seriously because the disease of the mind is the disease of the body. From the moment I enrolled in Jacksonville State University where I eventually earned both my master’s and Doctorate of Nursing with a specialty in Adult Gerontology Acute Care to my travels to the University of Texas where I earned my specialty in Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
