I am a board certified adult, child & adolescent psychiatrist. I completed medical school at the University of Illinois in Chicago, a general (adult) psychiatry residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a child psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. The training I received in residency and fellowship has prepared me to manage essentially any psychiatric issue that comes through my clinic doors, regardless of severity or complexity.

Lovelyne Ngeche is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Illinois; I have two years of medication management experience in inpatient and outpatient settings. Jessica Pendleton is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2023. She started out as an RN 9 years ago and has experience in mental health. She received her Master's Degree in Psychiatric Mental Health from Northern Kentucky University. Jessica takes great pride in being able to help patients when they need it most, as she aware of how difficult it can be to battle with mental health. Jessica takes great pride in helping individuals that are suffering with mental health issues and making a difference in their mental health journey.

I am currently accepting new patients**** I have been providing excellent care for over 5 years with great compassion.  I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients 7 years and older with Anxiety Disorders, Depression, ADHD, Mood disorder, PTSD, Opioid Use Disorder, and other mental health problems.  I treat each patient as an individual and work together in developing treatment plans. Debora Ellis is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who treats a broad range of mental illnesses in patients of all ages. Dr. Ellis completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Rush University in Chicago. Her areas of interest include personality disorders, PTSD, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, and addictions. Dr. Ellis’ philosophy of patient care is based on establishing a collaborative, therapeutic relationship with the patient that is founded on effective communication and honesty.

I have been working in a psychiatric setting for a few years now. I have experienced in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Akwetey Akrong, PMHNP-BC, takes a holistic approach to psychiatry and enjoys working with each patient’s strengths to help them achieve better mental health. He is a compassionate, active listener and his goal is to get every patient to their highest level of functioning. As a Marine Corps veteran, Akwetey previously worked in inpatient mental health with veterans suffering from a wide range of mental health disorders. He’s also a pastor and has extensive experience in family counseling. Akwetey enjoys working with both adolescents and adults suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and more.
