He provides psychiatric assessments & evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy and education of treatment and disorders. He provides onsite and telepsychiatry to his clients so that they are able to access treatment from their safe space.

With over three decades’ experience in academic and corporate environments, my current work as a Psychiatric DNP has evolved from observing the challenges and successes of colleagues and students and their relationship to emotional HEALTH and the ability to FOCUS on daily and long-term goals. As a result of my Yale, Duke, and MGH psychiatric training, I’ve honed my observations into effective working theories about the biopsychosocial factors that influence peoples’ vitality and well-being. She is the founder and CEO of Waltham Behavioral Health, LLC, a thriving private practice employing experienced, compassionate mental-health providers with diverse areas of expertise. Ms. Tsavoussis is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and serves on the Massachusetts Action Coalition working to remove restrictions that limit patients' access to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare across a variety of specialties.

Currently we have availability on a weekly basis starting in May 2024. Jan Nelson is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with board certification in psychiatry. With over 10 years working in the psychiatry field, she has experience with all levels of mental health including treating anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, attention deficit, sleep disorders, OCD, trauma, and others. Her practice focuses on the whole body, using a wide variety of treatment modalities including holistic treatment, medication management and therapy.

Kathleen “Kate” Hawk is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Yale University. She has provided psychiatric services in Western Massachusetts since 2013 and feels privileged to reside in our diverse community. She has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds in both acute and community outpatient care for Behavioral Health Network Inc. and The Carson Center For Human Services.
