I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Although successful, you're not as happy as you deserve to be, and you are likely pretty good at hiding your internal distress. After several years working as a nurse in the medical field and understanding the mind-body connection, I discovered that I wanted to work in a way that I could create long term relationships with my patients. I believe that mental health is just as important as our physical health. Although I am a strong advocate for holistic modalities such as therapy, movement, nutrition, and sleep, psychopharmacology can be a critical part of your treatment journey. Medications work best when used in conjunction with therapy and overall well-being practices.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. I am also a therapist in psychedelic research trials. I offer psychotherapy, which I combine with medication management or ketamine-assisted psychotherapy if and when needed. I have experience working with a diverse range of patients, including immigrants and their families.

As a Board Certified Psychiatrist I help patients struggling with depression and moodiness, attention regulation, severe anxiety and stress, and addictive behaviors, among others. As a therapist trained in classical and emerging therapies I approach these problems with greatest compassion, carefully considering one's life experiences, character, emotional and behavioral patterns, upbringing and relationships.
