Medications must be an open & honest collaboration between us. I provide information about the options, and respect your informed decision. NOTE: I do not accept any insurance at this time (self-pay only). Many clients find it helpful to be able to start treatment with me while they are searching or on a waitlist - that’s fine.

As a nurse, I have worked in various settings, enabling me providing culture-sensitive care, and performing case management for patients in these settings. From my experience working as a psychiatric nurse for several years,I have acquired additional skills used to provide care to patients and families/caregivers. With a comprehensive 90-minute eval, I work to understand your concerns and goals. You will not be treated as a label or an algorithm. Together, we create a dynamic plan to help you feel like the best you. When done with care, treatment can help you feel less down, tired or worried and feel more motivated, focused, and well without changing who you are or sedating or numbing you.

I have a background in women's health as a nurse-midwife which has developed into a specialty in women's mental health, perinatal mental health, hormonal transitions such as peri and post-menopause, menstrual related symptoms( PMS, PMDD, PCOS), and sexual health. Other interests include healthy aging, life style medicine, professional burn-out, caregiver fatigue, mindfulness approaches, stress resilience, psycho-education, trauma resolution, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.

With over three decades’ experience in academic and corporate environments, my current work as a Psychiatric DNP has evolved from observing the challenges and successes of colleagues and students and their relationship to emotional HEALTH and the ability to FOCUS on daily and long-term goals. As a result of my Yale, Duke, and MGH psychiatric training, I’ve honed my observations into effective working theories about the biopsychosocial factors that influence peoples’ vitality and well-being. Welcome! I AM accepting new patients for medication management. I am a Board Certified PMHNP with 22 years nursing experience. My nursing philosophy hasn't changed in 22 years. My aim is to deliver the same level of care equal which is expected for members of my family. Treatment efforts should be comprehensive and collaborative with the treatment team and the client's family.
