Dr. Nkiru Smith, DNP FNB-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a dually board-certified family nurse practitioner and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have been a nurse for the past two decades. I have worked in different healthcare settings, including critical care units, medical-surgical units, MAT, and outpatient, residential psychiatric mental facilities. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I aim to ease suffering and pain. Each patient requires an individualized treatment approach.
