The mind is the command center of the human body, thus an efficiently and effectively functioning mind is of vital importance to an individual’s overall health. My goal is to provide an environment that assists individual’s in maximizing their hope and potential through evidence-based psychiatric therapies and medication management, all the while building a therapeutic relationship that will support the individual in finding ways to streamline the “command center’s” function and efficiency.

Dr Rengifo is a Harvard trained board-certified psychiatrist who has expertise in medical education and diagnosing & treatment of various psychiatric conditions in adults. He completed his education at Cornell University and Rush Medical College as well as completing a psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. Most recently, he has an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry through Brown Medical School in Providence, RI with several teaching awards. Dr Rengifo brings a passion for teaching and excellent beside manner to all his patients.

In my practice, we are currently accepting NEW patients for medication management, therapy, chemical dependency treatment including suboxone. We also provide esketamine/spravato. My interests are varied and include a wide spectrum of disorders, such as major depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, substance use, ADHD and PTSD. I explore the biological, psychological and social components of mental illness and utilize tools and interventions to evaluate and treat my patients, including diagnostic laboratory tests, prescribed medications and coping strategies. We accept most insurances and private pay.
