In addition, he performs outpatient bariatric screening, biofeedback, neurofeedback and EEG evaluations. As a board certified provider in both Psychiatry and Internal Medicine, Dr. Gordon Kusi not only provides comprehensive care, but also care that is compassionate, patient-centered, knowledgeable and evidence based. He received his bachelor’s master’s and doctoral education from Rutgers University and a post-masters from Wilkes University. Dr. Kusi is highly esteemed among his clients who speak well of his respect, love for his profession, and compassion he expressed while providing care. Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. She provides thorough evaluations and medication management of all mental illness utilizing the Bio psychosocial Model. She has an extensive background in the hospital setting managing the care of patients who are medically compromised and in need of psychiatric care. Her compassionate manner is comforting to others in their time of need. Juliana is also bilingual speaking fluent Spanish.

I like to think my practice offers something for everyone. I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, so I can prescribe medications, but I am also a therapist. Many patients like the idea of their psychopharmacologist also being their therapist, because it means that I understand my patients as whole persons, and can minimize the amount of medication necessary. In some cases problems can be addressed with therapy alone, by helping patients identify and manage their emotions. For patients who prefer to work with someone else as therapist, I can function solely as the psychopharmacologist.
