We are currently accepting new patients for ADHD Neuropsychological testing. Think you have ADHD? No problem! We offer ADHD Objective Testing that can be used to guide ADHD diagnosis for patients. The testing can also be done at the office and via telehealth. We also offer adult autism assessment and DBT-informed therapy. At Ample Grace Psychiatry, we offer a custom approach for each client! Alexander Gumbs, FNP/PMHNP-BC is a dual board-certified practitioner in psychiatry and family medicine. Mr. Gumbs uses an integrative holistic approach to treat the bodies and minds of his patients. He is proficient in treating those across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors). Community focus is his passion. He has experience treating disadvantaged populations, such as the homeless and those in the criminal justice system transitioning back to civilian life. Mr. Gumbs treats those with anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, autism, insomnia, dementia, and postpartum depression.

I have worked in civilian and military nursing positions and was stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. I am a Gulf War Era veteran.

I received my Bachelors and Masters of Arts in Psychology and Health Communications from the State University of New York at Albany. I received my Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from the Sage Colleges. I am a board certified Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse practitioner and I also hold a current certification in College Health Nursing.

Dr. Trenice Johnson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is an experienced national board certified nurse practitioner who has practiced for several years in family practice and mental health services. She strongly believes in the importance of mental healthcare and she is thrilled to continue to embark upon. Helping clients with the goals of developing insight into their emotions and behaviors during the course of their treatment, while allowing her to gain trust and respect from those whom suffer from the problems of stress, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders and culture stress problems.
