The use of ketamine for mental health symptoms falls into two broad frameworks – a pharmaceutical/biochemical framework and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). I have worked in the behavioral health field for 12-years as a social worker, substance abuse counselor, nurse, and nurse practitioner. I obtained by Bachelors in Psychology from Ohio State University in 2009, obtained by Master's in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, nursing license in 2017 and Master's in Nursing in 2018 with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health.
