I enjoy working with patients in life transitions from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school, high school to college, and college to adult life. I work with people struggling with depression, anxiety, and ADHD as well as trouble with relationships and family conflict.

My predominant clinical focuses include areas of Childhood and adult Sleep Disorders, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ ADHD), Mood& Anxiety Disorders, Early-onset Psychotic Disorders and Psychopharmacology (medication use). I believe in conservative medication management, holistic approaches, and building healthy lifestyles through sleep-wake training. I went to medical school at University of Nebraska College of Medicine and Residency at Creighton University. I have done neuropsychiatric research, and I have been published. I have also done quite a bit of researching medication. I trained to do therapy by national leaders including two psychoanalysts. I have worked in academics, private practice, inpatient, outpatient, as staff physician, as Medical Director, and even with the prisons in Georgia. My varied background enables me to be a Psychiatrist who provides premier medication management as well as excellent psychotherapy.

Welcome! I am glad you are here. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that provides medication management and therapy services for children, adolescents and adults. I have been working in the mental health field for over 5 years, and have experience in the in-patient, out-patient, and emergency room settings. I work with clients struggling with emotional disturbances and various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.

I believe we are shaped by our experiences, relationships, and loss over time. As such, all persons will have needs specific to the moment and I aim to provide highly individualized care. I understand that not all situations require medications and I am happy to provide psychotherapy or collaborate with additional therapists in the community.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - We help patients establish a professional relationship with a dedicated physician who knows their medical history and medication regimen. This provides the patient with continuity of care and on-demand access to a doctor through telemedicine or in-person appointments. We manage a wide spectrum of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, OCD, ADHD and insomnia. Patients with these conditions have the best chance of improvement when they have regular appointments with the same physician who works with the patient in a professional setting.

I am dedicated to helping people suffering from a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, ocd, social anxiety, panic, autism, adhd, relationship difficulties and behavioral problems. It is a privilege to walk alongside people and help them resolve symptoms they find distressing and improve their quality of life. We will consider biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors that may be creating problems and address each of these as part of our work together.

Down To Earth Services is actively accepting new clients for medication management ! Sometimes, no matter how independent we are, we need help. We have a passion for supporting people who are seeking help managing high stress, life changes, anxiety, depression and trauma symptoms through outpatient therapy sessions and medication management.
