My name is Dr. Brian Forsythe and I believe in a whole-person approach to patient care. It is my belief that therapy, medication, diet, exercise, and personal goals are all integral parts of a person's mental and over-all health. I also offer cutting edge treatments like TMS Therapy and Psychotropic DNA testing. My office, the Dallas Psychiatry and TMS Center, is centrally located in the Mockingbird Station Shops/Park Cities/SMU/Highland Park area and is convenient to downtown Dallas.

Do you seek deep healing without pressing pause on your life? InnerSpace is an intensive outpatient program designed in an 8-week cycle. Our treatment methods help you find wellness while keeping you out of the hospital. With an interdisciplinary approach, InnerSpace combines therapeutic and psychiatric modalities. We specialize in treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and learning disorders, and various forms of addiction. Group sessions occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm. The program also includes individual therapy, individual psychiatry sessions, family sessions, treatment planning, and a feedback session upon completion of the program.

Dykstra Freeman, APRN has more than 10 years of experience in the behavioral health field. In addition to APRN, he has served as an RN and an MHT. Education is fundamental to his work and his expertise. He has a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University, two Bachelor’s degrees (biology and nursing) from Northwestern State University at LA, and an Associate’s in Nursing from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University of LA.

Dr. Melissa Deuter is Psychiatric Medical Director of Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care. She supervises a team of professionals providing immediate psychiatric appointments as well as psychotherapy. Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care takes same day appointments and walk-ins at our San Antonio location, and is open 7 days a week except major holidays. Our Austin location has limited services and we request that you call to schedule in Austin. We treat people during gaps in care, while they are waiting to get an appointment in the community, and we can continue treatment long-term when our clinic is the best fit for an individual's needs.

Lindsay is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience working with patients across the lifespan and a special passion for working with children and adolescents struggling with life changes and mental health challenges. Lindsay has dedicated herself to the field of mental health both professionally and personally as a pediatric nurse working with children, adolescents and their families during difficult circumstances and over a decade of experience working with local agencies focused on supporting caregivers of foster children with complex behavioral needs.

Dr. Dial's practice offers patients and families a calm, comfortable, and confidential environment to explore options for the evaluation and management of emotional and behavioral concerns. Our services include a thorough evaluation, medication management, patient education and may serve as a complement to a patient's current treatment team. We work with a wide range of behavioral and emotional disorders and also provide medication prescription and management. We believe that psychiatric evaluation, in addition to complementary therapeutic approaches (medication, counseling/psychotherapy) provide the best outcome for the patient. Dr. Dial develops specialized treatment plans that are evidenced based.

Dr. Umar Latif is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with triple board certification in General Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Latif completed his residency training at Wayne State University in Michigan and postgraduate fellowship training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

I have over 23 years of experience with mental health issues. I am certified in both Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
