**VIDEO & PHONE SESSIONS AVAILABLE TO ALL MD RESIDENTS** It’s hard to be happy when your life is out of balance. You’re a young woman, college student, or teenager struggling with depression, anxiety, mood swings, relationship problems, or family issues. You’re almost constantly feeling not good enough inside; like you’re falling short of finding love, the career, the friends, and the life you’ve aimed for. Maybe you’re a young woman who has discovered that “adulting” is a lot harder than you thought. It’s time for a change.

I have a deep interest in helping you explore all aspects of your life-emotional,physical and spiritual. It is my belief that such an exploration will result in a conviction that it is your life that you are living, that it is you that is living it and no one else. It will help you feel that it is you that is in charge of your life and no one else.

I provide talk therapy and medication management, as needed. Together, we can learn about how your mind works and put words to feelings that you have. We can also work to identify patterns which may be holding you back and potential shifts which may improve your feelings of efficacy. As you increase your self-understanding, you can find a deeper sense of purpose in your life and more meaningful connections in social and professional relationships. I also provide a sliding scale fee for an intensive talk therapy.

Relationship Issues Psychiatrists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
