I am a board certified psychiatrist. I have a telepsychiatric practice where I see clients all over Florida and New York state. I am licensed in both states. My concierge practice specializes in medication management to treat psychiatric issues including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and all other psychiatric needs of the patient. I approach each client in a nonjudgmental manner to help decrease and eliminate symptoms and achieve treatment goals. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual.

While past results obviously cannot be assurances, Dr. Brent is adept in customizing and optimizing his approach for the specific needs of the individual. This is brought about by applying the same level of expertise that he brings to the prescribing of medication to choosing and personally providing the most effective form of psychotherapy for the individual.

Elie G. Aoun, MD, MRO, is a Columbia University, quadruple board certified psychiatrist licensed in New York and in California practicing in downtown NYC. Dr. Aoun trained in general psychiatry at Brown University, in addiction psychiatry at UCSF and in forensic psychiatry at the combined Columbia University and Cornell University program. He has additional expertise in neuro-psycho-endocrinology and psychotherapy. Dr. Aoun provides diagnostic evaluations including second opinions, treatment for psychiatric disorders using psychotherapy, medication management , and forensic evaluations for civil and criminal litigation.

I completed my psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins University where I continued to work as an attending psychiatrist and faculty member for 5 years. I am board certified in psychiatry and neurology and have publications in both esteemed scientific journals and textbooks. I am a proud native New Yorker who cherishes the meaningful work of helping to facilitate change in an individuals' life.

I am a therapist and physician experienced in helping people of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, learning difficulties, medical illnesses and other challenges. Life brings many transitions and crises, and you may need the right people on your team to navigate through them. Your solutions may include psychotherapy, medication, or other treatments, and I will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan. I believe that the foundation of treatment is a person's core values and goals. Using education and motivation-based counseling, I aim to give people the tools to take care of their health.

I am trained to treat people at all life stages. I do especially enjoy helping children and adolescents feel better and reach their full potential. When working with children, it is crucial to do an in-depth evaluation to look at the "whole picture," as all children exist within their own web of relationships (family, friends, schools, extracurricular activities). I develop personalized treatment plans that use evidence-based therapy, medications or a combination to help children and their families achieve better mental health and family functioning.

I bring my sense of humor and upbeat personality to every session, and I am deeply dedicated to working to help you feel better. I'm a board-certified psychiatrist who provides medication management and psychotherapy to adults. We can work together to address your everyday challenges and the issues that cause you stress, fear, and depression. I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which works in the "here and now" to address your thought processes and behaviors to help you feel happier. I offer flexible appointment times, including on weekends at my private office in Brooklyn Heights.
