Our practice was founded by Elizabeth Durovich, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC, CEN, a board-certified advanced practice nurse in psychiatry and mental health. Our office treats a range of mental health issues and psychiatric disorders in the adult population. We believe that everyone needs a mental health provider and currently offers comprehensive services and values all patient’s input on determining a plan of care and treatment options. We welcome all patients to seek care to address their mental health needs.

Ms. Ottah is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Adelphi University with a Master’s in Nursing. With over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, she has primarily worked in the challenging environment of correctional health, providing care to patients with severe mental health problems, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. Her journey reflects her steadfast commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of her future patients.

I am a Mount Sinai trained and affiliated, board-certified psychiatrist. I take an approach that is highly personalized to every individual's needs, taking into consideration unique characteristics and circumstances in each encounter. I believe that the treatment process is based in a partnership between patient and doctor, moving forward towards the patient's goals. ​

I am a board-certified psychiatrist, teacher, and published author. I offer treatments designed for adults and older adults, and I have a dedicated focus on reproductive psychiatry. I have trained between Italy and the United States, where I conducted research at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and ultimately completed my training at the University of Southern California. In 2020, I became a Clinical Instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I perfected my training and gained a second board certification in Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry, which focuses on complex clinical scenarios.

My ideal practice setting is one where clients feel comfortable and empowered to share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who completed training at the NYU School of Medicine. I understand that the decision to ask for help can be a scary one for many reasons. Your mental health can be impacted by your current stressors, prior stressful life experiences, and your cultural background. The first step towards achieving wellness is asking for help. My approach to mental health and wellbeing recognizes these experiences and provides a professional, safe and confidential place to address your concerns and get the care that you need.

Mental health and its treatment are stigmatized, rendering the initiation of treatment intimidating for many. That is why I provide a professional and empathetic space for consultation and treatment; everyone should be comfortable seeking the care they feel they need. I also utilize telepsychiatry when appropriate to increase access to care. I am dual board certified in adult general psychiatry and addiction. I have also specialized in clinical training in sex therapy and I am affiliated with NYU's Program in Human Sexuality. I offer both treatment for patients and supervision for other mental health professionals.

I have spent several years working with adults from ages 16 to 70. Several of my patients are going through difficult transitions and have experienced anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and ADHD. I use a multidisciplinary approach if appropriate, and often times will do weekly therapy in addition to medication management.

Hello! My name is Carl DeFranco, and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in New York State. I utilize medication management with supportive therapy. My goal is to meet your needs and restore functionality to your everyday life. I typically work with patients that are ages 18+. I have treated ADHD, anxiety, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, adjustment disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, and psychotic disorders.

Medication Management & Diagnostic Assessments. Please note, individual weekly talk therapy is not available at this time. Dr. Chikvashvili is a double board certified child & adult psychiatrist in New York City. She is currently an attending physician at Long Island Jewish Medical Center & Cohen Children’s Medical Center, specializing in Emergency Adult & Pediatric Psychiatry. In addition to her expertise in adult psychiatry, Dr. Chikvashvili is one of the few doctors with experience in treating children of all ages.

As a licensed medical doctor and practicing psychiatrist, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental conditions. As an osteopathic, physician, my philosophy incorporates a complete integration of the mind and the body. My training, both in psychopharmacology (medication) and psychotherapy (talk therapy), helps me incorporate both treatment modalities in my practice. This approach also relates to work I do in public mental health where I work part time providing mental health care to the homeless, severely mentally ill and LGBT at risk youth.
