I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in general and addiction psychiatry. Most of my clinical expertise was developed in New York City and San Francisco treating children, adolescents, and adults with an extremely wide array of problems. I also served as the Director of the New York University Nurse Practitioner program. Authenticity and non-judgment drive my practice. I believe that people change at different paces and that is part of being human. Ideally, we change from the inside out.

Emily is a ANCC board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She received a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in psychiatric mental health nursing from New York University. Emily completed her residency at the Northern California VA Medical Center, where her clinical experience included both dual-diagnosis and trauma-focused care.

My interest is towards my patients and my patients are my priority. I love my career and I love to take care of my patients. Emily is a ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate training at The University of Florida and The University of North Florida. She earned her master’s degree from The University of South Alabama. Emily provides comprehensive evaluations and psychiatric treatment plans for patients experiencing a range of difficulties, including mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and ADHD. She believes a careful and thorough evaluation provides the best path to work with the patient to develop an individualized plan of care for optimal mental health outcomes.

My focus of interest is working with people who feel paralyzed in their relationships and work lives and find it impossible to live following their desires. It's essential to my work to empathize with my patient's dilemmas, suffering, and pain. The experience of being known and understood is crucial in the journey toward healing. I do my best to ensure my patients feel safe to open up. I foster an environment of warmth and curiosity. I work best with people who want to make changes yet feel trapped in a frustrating incapacity to implement them.

Dr. Gundu Reddy is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in New York City. Prior to starting residency at Mount Sinai School of medicine she pursued additional research in HIV psychiatry. As well as residency training, she has also pursued further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU psychoanalytic institute. She states that whether prescribing medication, family, or relationship therapy, understanding psychodynamic conflict and causes of symptoms will cause help to enhance the quality of care. As well as psychodynamic training Dr Reddy also has a background in integrative psychiatry and treatment resistance.

I've worked at length with a wide variety of people. From counseling at an all-girl college to working in the prison system, I find strong connections with people from all walks of life. From a compatible connection can grow a good relationship; and this is what I base treatment upon.
