I am a general adult psychiatrist, practicing individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, couple psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and neuropsychiatry. My approach can be described as eclectic and practical. I routinely treat people with mood disorders, anxiety disrders, addiction disorders, and personality disorders.

I am a Yale-educated, Cornell- and Columbia-trained psychiatrist (MD) with a PhD in neuroscience, providing customized treatment based on individual needs. I am committed to improving the wellness of my patients through a flexible and responsive approach. I specialize in psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood, and personality disorders. After serving as an attending psychiatrist for family health centers in Florida and California caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Dr. Jalan brings a wealth of experience to his work with patients at NYC Psychiatric Associates.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and New York University (NYU). After graduating as chief resident, I went on to pursue a fellowship and work in the public sector serving those most in need. As a psychopharmacologist and psychotherapist, I can provide integrated treatment best. I treat people of all ages. I am very experienced with children, adolescents and young adults especially. I am accustomed to working with families, if that is needed, as well. I have the most experience and expertise with ADHD at any age, but I treat many other disorders and things that don't necessarily neatly fit or need a diagnostic category. I spend the necessary time getting to know patients before any recommendations. I can work with schools, agencies and recommend other doctors and services as needed for you.

Hi! My name is Dr. Sara Chun, MD. I am a board-certified psychiatrist who provides medication management. I hope to provide an informative space for patients to consider different treatment options and collaboratively find their personal balance between therapy, skills, and medicine.
