I am a Doctoral trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 20+ years of health care experience and 16 years of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy expertise. I received my Doctorate and Master’s degrees from the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) IHP in Boston. I provide a safe environment and partnership with my clients. I customize pharmaceutical and therapy solutions based on individual needs.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in mental health. My treatment approach is grounded in a combination of evidence-based therapies, integrative holistic modalities and pharmacotherapy. I work together with my clients to understand their lived experience as we tailor a course of treatment to meet their individual needs. My mission is to provide an environment that is supportive, and free from judgement. I provide education on medication choices and treatment decision-making is shared.

As a physician, psychotherapist and healer my goal is to work with you to create a treatment approach centered around you as an individual, based on your unique needs and wishes. I did my residency at New York University. I had psychoanalytic psychotherapy training. I have research experience. I have extensive experience in psychotherapy and prescribing medications for a wide range of issues.

I've worked at length with a wide variety of people. From counseling at an all-girl college to working in the prison system, I find strong connections with people from all walks of life. From a compatible connection can grow a good relationship; and this is what I base treatment upon. Adept at treating all standard psychiatric disorders as well as focusing in addressing the trauma related, substance, food, Relationship/Interpersonal, gender, sexual , and cultural problems that often accompany them.

I have traditional training in psychoanalysis and psychopharmacology, but I also use hypnosis, EMDR, and other innovative forms of treatment. I believe that communication is the key to effective treatment and that our teamwork is essential to the development of trust and empathy necessary in developing healthy relationships..
