Vanessa A. Menjivar is a board-certified mental health psychiatric nurse practitioner. Vanessa understands that most patients have struggled to find treatment due to lack of access, reluctance to seek help, and stigma. To combat these issues, Vanessa creates a safe space where patients can feel comfortable and supported. She guides her patients through self-actualization and empowerment so they can grow and adapt to life’s challenges. Vanessa uses cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy. Vanessa has been providing care since 2018 and works with patients ages 5-64.

Rachel Waters is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Rachel’s treatment philosophy incorporates the mind and body. She conducts thorough patient assessments that factor in medical or biological contributors to behaviors, referring patients to resources when needed. Her goal is to enrich her patients’ lives so they can embrace life – the good and the bad. Rachel’s patients can expect to establish a trusting relationship with her as they receive individualized, evidence-based care.

Marie Rommage, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC is a dual Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with training and experience treating patients across the lifespan and across practice settings, from hospitals to assisted living facilities and patient’s homes. Marie graduated in 2011 with an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Remington College of Nursing in Lake Mary Florida. She spent the early part of her nursing career working as a bedside nurse at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, NY caring for a marginalized patient population.

To be there for everyone who needs help, especially those in tough spots like shelters or with limited means. My nursing career kicked off with top honors, and I didn't stop there—I went on to master the world of psychiatry and even got my Doctorate. But it's not just about the diplomas on my wall; it's about making sure you get the latest and greatest in mental health care.

I am board certified in both general psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry. As such, I not only see children and adolescents but also young adults. I prefer to work with this age group but I will consider working with middle-aged adults as long as it is a good "fit" for my practice. Also please know that my practice is not in any insurance networks, though we will submit all billing to your insurance so that you can collect any out-of-network benefits. I am comfortable diagnosing and treating ADHD & behavioral disorders, depression & other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and autism spectrum disorder.

I am an ivy league-trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist seeing patients for combined psychotherapy and medication management services by telehealth. My practice is small and patient-focused with a tailored approach to meet every patient's unique needs.
