My patients come to me searching for a mental health provider who is well-rounded, experienced, thorough, and attentive to their life’s story. While I work as a generalist, I have extensive experience treating patients and families who have been coping with chronic stress, fatigue, anxiety, depression, pain or other difficult to control physical symptoms associated with medical illness. I also have experience working with individuals and families who are dealing with advanced illness and want to find a psychiatric provider who "get's it."

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in New York City. I completed my Adult Psychiatry training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and I am currently completing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Weill Cornell and Columbia University Medical Centers. At this time, I am accepting adult clients only, though I will look forward to welcoming child and adolescent clients beginning in Summer 2024. I have expertise in both talk therapy and medication management for a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD.

I am a Manhattan-based psychiatrist trained in both medication management and psychotherapy who provides personalized, trauma-informed treatment for a variety of conditions. Areas of focus include depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, personality, stress and trauma-related disorders, psychosis, focus and compulsive disorders, relationship strain, life transitions, career stresses, gender dysphoria, gender transitions and myriad other challenges. During your initial consultation, we will begin with a comprehensive psychiatric assessment, and will discuss your current concerns, past experiences and long-term goals.

Areas of focus include depression/mood disorders, anxiety, personality, and stress disorders, creative block. I work with many individuals challenged by relationship struggles, life transitions, or the stresses of demanding and high-profile careers. During your initial consultation, I will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric assessment, then make recommendations tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Treatments offered may include medication, psychotherapy or a combination of the two.

With over three decades in private practice, Dr. Ruth Anne Richter has extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, attention deficit, and eating disorders. Dr. Richter also has expertise with substance abuse and addiction, as well as dual diagnoses. During your initial appointment, Dr. Richter will meet with you to discuss your history of symptoms and current challenges, and will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your precise needs.

Maryellen Hammill is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Maryellen is a warm, empathetic care provider who understands the importance of being fully present and engaged with her patients. She helps her patients identify issues causing them distress and helps them explore holistic, evidence-based treatment options. Everyday challenges, life transitions, adverse experiences, and personal stressors can manifest in the form of stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, etc. A thorough psychiatric interview and assessment can bring those issues to light. She provides psychiatric assessments, talk therapy, and Med Management.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist practicing in NY, NJ, and via telehealth. I completed psychiatry residency training at Columbia University and I am now an Instructor in Clinical Psychiatry at Columbia. I work with clients struggling with a wide range of mental health problems, including stress, life transitions, relationship difficulties, work and school issues. Dr. Tali Tuvia is a board certified child and adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She works as an attending psychiatrist at Mount Sinai St. Lukes Hospital, where she sees patients in the Child and Family Institute. Dr. Tuvia also holds a position as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she supervises residents and fellows in training. She completed her psychiatry training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. To deepen her therapeutic skills, Dr. Tuvia is completing a fellowship at Columbia University in child and adolescent psychodynamic psychotherapy.

I specialize in distress related to parenting, pregnancy, and early adulthood. In my practice, I emphasize psychotherapy alongside the thoughtful use of psychiatric medications, and I have particular expertise in postpartum depression and anxiety, in prescribing psychiatric medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in grief related to infertility and pregnancy loss, in other mental health challenges related to women's reproductive lifecycle, and in the stresses of early adulthood. My practice centers on warm, personalized, and respectful care.

Dr. Katherine Falk practices Integrative and Holistic Psychiatry in New York City.She is also licensed in CA, CT, IL, NJ, MA, PA and can treat those who live there by Telepsychiatry.In addition to providing psychotherapy, she has developed a method of evaluating the biological underpinnings of mental illness and recommends a personalized approach for each of her patients.Using natural substances, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbs, homeopathy–she is able to minimize (and often eliminate) the need for psychiatric medications. I am a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist seeing patients in New York and California. I completed my adult psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. I am currently completing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Cornell/Columbia.
