I am a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who practices psychotherapy, pharmacologic treatment and, when appropriate, refers for interventional psychiatry treatments. I see both children and adults, and approach patients and their families with respect, compassion and care. While I strongly believe in pharmacologic treatments backed by neuroscience, I am also a proponent of not simply medicating a child or an adult, but using the entire spectrum of interventions for a healthy brain (exercise, diet, meditation, mindfulness). Dr. Kelly is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist. After completing his training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and directing their Residency Training Program, he moved back to Los Angeles and is currently a professor with UCLA. Due to high demand for his individualized services, he now also sees outpatients in two locations, Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills. Dr. Kelly has multiple areas of focus in which he may be of particular help.

My top priority is the well being of my patients and their families and I pride myself in providing the absolute highest quality of psychiatric care to my patients. My practice is focused on treating children, adolescents and young adults with mood, anxiety and behavioral disorders, as well as addiction. One of my areas of specialty is ADHD for which I have had specialized training. I am currently a staff physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was previously Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Pediatrics at USC and an attending physician at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
