I am currently accepting new patients. I'm a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist trained at Stanford, UCSF, and the Mayo Clinic, and I'm here to help you or your loved one start feeling better. It's great that you're looking for help. In my practice, I listen carefully to understand what you're going through and offer help through talking and sometimes medicine. I work with people of all ages, from kids to adults, and I have a special interest in helping those with conditions like ADHD, Autism, and Functional Neurological Disorders. We'll work together to reach your goals and improve your life.

I strive to create a judgement free, welcoming environment and treat my patients in a holistic and culturally competent manner through the use of evidence-based therapies and medications. I use a comprehensive approach to understand the emotional, psychosocial and interpersonal spheres of my patients' lives. This allows me to identify the strengths, vulnerabilities and needs of my patients. I prioritize making my patients feel as comfortable as possible, often by engaging them in their own interests.

She also has extensive experience with medication management for eating disorders. Dr. Chmura is trained in both Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry from UCSF and Stanford Universities. She uses a warm, holistic approach to treating every individual, couple, and family. Dr. Chmura is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, (CBT, DBT, Supportive). She is an expert on pharmacologic management for depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, and post-partum depression and anxiety.
